Chris: I’ve got so many songs that I’ve written with Lee that have never seen the light of day, and I didn’t want these to get lost. In the end, a lot of mine and Thommo’s songs ended up on the ‘box set’ version of the album. So what happened was, we had all these songs left over. And I was determined to get them finished. So I went to a studio in Crouch End with this guy called Anthony Leung, and he had the job of trying to pull these things together.
‘Oh My Love’ goes back to the bloody dawn of time, when we were doing the Dangermen album. It’s really good, it’s got a really good feel, but we lost the master tapes to the first version we did, so we recorded it again, and it’s kind of not as good. It’s like a good photocopy.
